Animation created using Asprite
Departed is a walking simulator story game created during the 2018 NYU Tisch Summer High School Program, and submitted as a final project.  The game was co-created by my teammate, Miles Isgrig.  We decided to go above and beyond with Departed by not only challenging our programming skills in Game Maker and Asprite but also by taking on the challenge of writing a complete story-based game.  For my part of the project, I created an animated the majority of the art assets and ending screens in the span of two weeks and was also responsible for the level design and for co-writing the dialogue of the NPCs and co-scoring the game's soundtrack.
